Elevate Stanley is a a community-led initiative focused on bringing people together around a shared vision for Stanley’s future.

On December 2nd, 2025, community members met to discuss creating a Community Center for events, sports, gatherings, and year‑round wellness.

Another current priority is to further develop business attraction and tourism. The goal is to position Stanley as a vibrant, economically diverse, and welcoming destination by leveraging its community assets, cultural heritage, and strategic location.

Through open community discussion, Elevate Stanley hopes to transform ideas into action, creating growth, connection, and opportunities for generations to come.

Souris Basin Planning Council role in the initiative is to help facilitate, guide, and relieve administrative burdens to help Elevate Stanley better achieve action steps by building capacity and offering support.
