ND Region 2 communities have been awarded approximately $33 million in the last 21 years. All projects have: benefited low- and moderate-income citizens, prevented or cleared slum and blight, or met an urgent need. SBPC is hosting al CDBG Workshop for interested applicants. See below for details!

About the Event

This workshop is FREE to attend, but you must be registered in advance!

What: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Workshop

CDBG funds may be used for:

  • public facilities (i.e. water towers, lagoons, lift stations, trunk infrastructure, streets, etc.)
  • housing (single-family rehabilitation and projects addressing mult-family housing)
  • removal of architectural barriers (improve the mobility and accessibility of elderly persons and/or persons with disabilities)
  • Economic Development projects through the Community Development Loan Fund

When: Friday, April 26 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am (this will be the only workshop held in 2019)

Where: Minot Public Library, 516 2nd Ave SW, Minot ND 58701

Who should attend?

  • any entity or individual interested in seeking CDBG funding in 2019
  • city officials and employees
  • county officials and employees
  • non-profit leaders and employees interested in learning about CDBG

Eligible applicants include cities and counties (cities and counties may serve as project sponsors to support other entities)

SBPC will provide:

  • light refreshments

  • project eligibility requirements
  • application guidance
  • What to expect if your entity is approved for funding
  • FAQ's
  • Etc.
