The Souris Basin Planning Council Board of Directors, acting in their capacity as the North Dakota Planning Region 2 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Review Committee has recommended funding for five area projects for the 2010 program year.

The 2010 recipient of Souris Basin Planning Council’s Basil O’Connell Community Leadership Award is Dale Niewoehner of Rugby. The Award is given annually in recognition of exceptional community leadership and service.
